Ploughing Match Schedules



Ploughing Competitions

The ploughing competitions will be taking place throughout the day, starting at 10am.

The schedule for the ploughing competitions is available from the Secretary, tel: 07870 264406.

To enter the Match please print off the Ploughing Entry Form and send to the Secretary.

Domestic and Children's Competitions

Entries in the competitions for flowers, handicrafts, cookery, vegetables and produce are staged in the marquee which will re-open after judging at approximately 12.30 p.m.

Farmers Competitions and Livestock

There are a number of competitions for a variety of aspects of agricultural production, including Commercial Sheep, Native Breeds of Livestock, Young Handlers' Competition and Cereal Competitions.

Working Demonstrations

Vintage sawmill provided by Hadleys.

Cider Making

There will be a demonstration of cider making using vintage equipment by Jimmy Coburne.

Vintage Tractors and Equipment and Stationery Engines

A range of vintage items will be on display provided by members and supporters of the Society and there will an opportunity to see working vintage sawmill equipment.

A range of items will be on display.

Craft Stalls / Trade Stands

A range of stalls will be on site.
